We celebrate our transformative seventh year with the launch of Per Sē: The industry’s first olfactive logo that encapsulates the essence of the now.
Per Sē is not a scent. It’s a sensory experience. From its avant-garde composition to its minimalist design, it echoes a new sensory universe that expands beyond the bottle. Seven years into our journey, we stand tall, matured, and bold. Per sē is the antithesis of a traditional modern perfume. Modernity, of course, evolves and changes with time, and time is always in flux. For a scent to be called modern, it must also change over time. We’re always evolving, so it just wouldn’t make sense to claim our scent is modern if it doesn’t change along with us.
In fact: either you go with the times, or you go with time.
As time is always in flux, so is Per Sē. It’s a scent in motion: Better enjoy it in the present moment. It might have evolved the next time you meet. Once more, we collaborated with the outstanding perfumer Shyamala Maisondieu and went with her on a poetic endeavor to explore the olfactive idea of Per sē and transform it into a scent experience:
“In creating Per Sē, I aimed to capture the very essence of the present moment. This fragrance is unparal- leled; it ebbs and flows with the dynamism of change, yet its core remains strikingly constant. Just as time never stops, neither does ‘Per sē’. It serves as evidence of the enduring within the ever-changing.”
Crafting a symphony of achromatic elegance, Per Sē is composed of a floral bouquet, orris butter, and violet leaves. Juxtaposed with clean aldehydes, bamboo, and a pinch of spicy pep- per, a subtle underscore of ambrette seeds, angelica roots, and gentle musk complete the incompletable experience of the sensory “now.” It’s a scent that invites, enchants, and evokes the present in all its multifaceted grandeur.
